Formula Student, also known as SAE Formula Student, is an automotive competition that has been promoting the excellence of engineering students from Universities around the world since 1979, through an automotive competition where they design and manufacture single-seaters to later show performance on the track. The main objective of Formula Student is not only speed, but value is given to the technical and economic characteristics of the design, in addition to the business viability of the project.
