Discover the ecoRV

UPC ecoRacing approaches the new Formula Student season with enthusiasm and confidence following the development of its latest single-seater, a high-performance prototype designed to achieve greater competitiveness on the track. The new ecoRV will take part in Formula Student Spain and Formula Student Germany, where the team will compete against some of the best university engineering teams in the world.

This vehicle represents the fifth generation of UPC ecoRacing single-seaters and marks a significant evolution compared with previous models. It features a carbon-fiber monocoque, all-wheel drive, a comprehensive aerodynamic package and autonomous driving capabilities, allowing the car to compete in both manual and driverless disciplines.

The new ecoRV incorporates major improvements in its design, technology and overall architecture. Its longer and narrower configuration has been developed to enhance aerodynamic efficiency, while its more aggressive geometry is intended to deliver better performance and handling on the track. The car also includes a completely revamped powertrain, a redesigned battery, new inverters and an entirely renewed aerodynamic package.

One of the most important innovations is the new modular chassis, divided into six sections. This architecture makes it easier to modify and develop individual components while reducing manufacturing and development costs. Combined with the new monocoque and the redesigned electrical and mechanical systems, this modular approach creates a more efficient and adaptable vehicle.

After months of design, manufacturing, testing and dedication, UPC ecoRacing is ready to face the challenges of the new season. The experience gained from previous generations, together with the technical advances incorporated into the new ecoRV, gives the team confidence that the car will be competitive at Formula Student Spain and Formula Student Germany.

The fifth-generation ecoRV reflects UPC ecoRacing’s commitment to innovation, engineering excellence and continuous improvement. With a more advanced, efficient and competitive concept, the team is prepared to take the next step and demonstrate the full potential of its new single-seater on the international Formula Student stage.
